Oh it isn’t easy! I have been trying for years and I am only 20! To be honest you need money, no question about it.
CAMS licence (or equivalent) is around $700.
Race gear is between $2000 and $4000
The racing we want to do for a full weekend of racing and the car is provided is $8500.
We are hoping to get the weekend sponsored, if not we will raise the money ourself!
Meeting with a sponsor tomorrow with a racing friend of mine, hoping to enter an low budget endurance race in November :)
